Software

The pedigree Variant, Annotation, Analysis, and Search Tool (pVAAST) has now entered beta testing. pVAAST is a software package designed to identify disease genes in families from sequencing and exome chip data. pVAAST extends the case-control framework in VAAST to accommodate family-based designs. Presently, access to the beta is by invitation; if you are interested in helping us test the software, please contact Chad Huff. The public release of the software will be available for download upon manuscript publication and will be free for academic use.
